Our work is 100% powered by volunteers. We train and empower each volunteer to grow a diverse set of skills for working in the climate space professionally. From the USA, Dominican Republic, and the Gambia, to Nigeria, India, and Canada, our team represents the diversity of the climate movement as we build solidarity for climate justice together.

Seven UN Climate Conferences attended,

48 Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to the Paris Agreement Analyzed
Our NDC education and peer-mentor training model empowered 150+ young people in analyzing their country's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) that explains how they will implement and achieve the Paris Agreement from a gender and intergenerational justice perspective. Volunteer Highlights
Alvaro
Alvaro is from Casablanca, Chile. He started with Care About Climate as a participant in ClimAcademy in 2017, where he gained the tools and connections to grow into the international climate movement. He joined the ClimAcademy development team in 2018, and helped streamline the courses into a new online platform. In 2019, he worked closely with the Chilean government as a youth representative to coordinate the Conference of the Youth prior to the UN Climate Conference. He has been influential to how Chile thinks about youth engagement in their policy development around climate change.
