Previously, she worked on climate resilience at her university’s sustainability office, sustainable development on islands with the Local2030 Islands Network, sustainability curriculum design for resource constrained communities, and local zero waste projects in Costa Rica and Arizona.
Her work has led her to represent young people at events including the Planet Forward Summit, 8th ACE Dialogues, 2021 ECOSOC Youth Forum, and COP26.
Hailey strives to create learning opportunities that strengthen our relationships with the earth, each other, and our local to global community to promote just, fair, urgent, and intersectional sustainable development, while building climate resilience.
