Haddijatou is from The Gambia, and holds a Bachelor of science in Environmental Science from the University of The Gambia and currently at the National Environment Agency. Due to her passion for climate action, she is involved in climate research, seminars, and projects on climate and environmental related issues. As such she served as The Gambia NDC Ambassador on  the 2020 NDC Project with Care About Climate and conducted a study tour with the Ecosystem Based Adaptation Project in enhancing climate resilience. She loves to use her knowledge to help future generations and educate her community on how to take action against the effects of climate change.
