Climate Sign Partnerships Director

Hours: 8-10 hours/week

Description: 

Care About Climate is seeking a motivated volunteer to spearhead our Partnerships for the Climate Sign program. The Climate Sign Partnerships Director would report to the CEO and COO, but be trusted to operate independently to promote the Climate Sign as a global tool for climate action through collaborative campaigns. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support a team to develop partnerships globally to use the Climate Sign as a movement tool

  • Create strategy to develop partnerships for ClimateSign.org

  • Lead the ClimateSign.org Coalition

  • Support partner organizations in using the Climate Sign and provide them materials for campaigning.

  • Work closely with the Climate Sign Media and Comms Director

  • The Climate Sign Program Director would need to commit to 2-3 calls a week, including a leadership call, an organization-wide call, and check-in calls with Climate Sign team members.

Note: This is currently an unpaid position, though we are happy to work with you if you’d like the role to meet any school internship or volunteer requirements. Although we aim to hire and stipend more people in the future, a majority of the Care About Climate team consists of volunteers.
