Climate Toolkit and Community of Practice

Be an activist. Become a Climate Champion.

Climate Champions Program

Ensuring the climate movement thrives and continues holding world leaders accountable requires empowering new generations with the requisite knowledge and resources to care about the climate like we do. That’s why we have launched our Climate Champions Program with a focus on mentoring the next generation of climate leaders to lead change in the communities and beyond!

The Climate Champions Program creates a platform for young people to be trained and empowered to organize, act, and lead grassroots climate action activities with groups they’re already a part of in their community. Through our climate toolkit, and virtual community of practice meet-ups, we have the knowledge and skills to help you start your climate action journey off on the right foot.

The Climate Toolkit

With universal climate education unestablished and the impacts of climate change unfolding more harshly everyday, there is a need for increased access to quality resources that provides hands-on approaches to leading change in your community, starting with an understanding of how your community is vulnerable to climate impacts, to identifying possible solutions, and a practical way to start mobilizing your community for action and systems change. While recognizing that taking climate action is not a one-size-fits-all approach, especially when we think about the diversity of nature, our communities, cultures, and social fabrics of life, we have created a series of steps to help you make a ripple effect of climate action in your community by starting from where you already are today! By downloading our climate toolkit, you will be exposed to who is a climate champion, and what it takes for you to become the Climate Champion that you can be.
